Learn to Fly
The Radio Control Club of Jacksonville is happy to help the beginner pilot "earn their wings." There are several members of the club who are available to help anyone who is eager to learn, and maintains valid AMA insurance.
It's never been easier or more affordable to get into the hobby. There are several manufacturers who offer .40-.60 size high-wing trainer aircraft in both ARF (Almost Ready to Fly) and RTF (Ready to Fly) packages. There are also several flight simulators available so you can practice right at home on your PC.
Also, the AMA has recently launched a new electronic magazine for the new RC pilot. It has a lot of very useful information. Check it out at www.masportaviator.com
